Spam Policy

Cubic Yard is a networking community serving as a blogging platform and community to post, discuss and share  opinions, knowledge and/or information about the Property Preservation Industry and related topics.

Cubic Yard is not a webmaster article dumping ground, SEO tool, or link pool. Cubic Yard is run by experienced webmasters that are knowledgeable of the sneaky, underhanded disrespectful and malicious things that spammers, inexperienced webmasters and unscrupulous marketers and advertisers do to drop a link or post some crappy sales pitch and how they try to hide them.

We do not wish to censor or regulate our members but if  it is determined that a member has signed up for a Cubic Yard account for the sole purpose of committing abuse of our service, the account will be immediately terminated without notice or refund.

  • Repetitive Posting

Repetitive posting of the same thing in one or more forums or groups will typically be considered spam, no matter what the content.

  • Commercial Posts

Posts of a commercial nature (“Cheap Watches””Wordpress Mass Installer”, “Viagra”) and/or those about a specific products or commercial website are generally not welcome by anyone.

  • ‘For Sale’ blogs and groups

Groups with “for sale”, “Cheap”, “Buy” and many other common spam words in their name are usually dedicated to the selling and purchasing of items by individual members of the Cubic Yard community. Be sure that your post is appropriate for our community, most of which do not welcome commercial posts or items for sale through other mediums.

  • Chain Letters/Pyramid Schemes

Chain letters and pyramid schemes are illegal in the United States. If you are found to be posting chain letter or pyramid scheme type material your account will be terminated.

  • Altered Headers

Altering headers in order to obscure a post’s server of origin, attribute a post to another person, make a post look like a followup when it is not, or to falsely imply moderator approval is considered abuse of service and will result in account termination.
Cubic Yard  takes accusations of abuse and spam very seriously and will use experience and judgment to fairly determine whether a situation is or is not abuse, whether it falls into the categories above or into a category not explicitly detailed.

If you spam this community, you can count on these things happening:

  • Your affiliate link will be reported back to your affiliate company as a spammer. That is not good for you.
  • If you are linking straight to a website or landing page, we will report that site to it’s host and to all of the major search engines for using spam tactics. Also not good for you.
  • If you are “blackhatting” or using unscrupulous SEO tactics for others, then you will just get their sites banned or in trouble and they will see what kind of business person you really are . Really not good for you.
  • Your email address and IP address will be blocked and you reported as a spammer. This is good for everyone.

There are no warnings, and we don’t send out friendly messages to alert you that your blog has been reported. Our users are encouraged to report spam, and undesirable behavior and such reports are immediately handled by our staff and a decision executed within seconds.

Trust us, we know spam when we see it.

Auto sign ups, or registrations attempted by use of some automated program, scraper, or bot, are immediately flagged and deleted and the IP and email address blocked and reported.

If you have a blog it will not be deactivated, it will be deleted and all of your information and digital signatures and information will be reported, and banned from all Gulf Thunder Corporation websites immediately.

If your blog is deleted for spamming, there will be no way for us to recover any of it’s content, nor will we even care to assist you in it’s recovery.

You user account will also be deleted and your email, and IP address reported and permanently blocked.

I don’t need to elaborate on this for honest users. A certain amount of Self Promotion is absolutely encouraged and expected.

Spam is a different animal all together and spammers know what they are and know what they are doing. Understand that we do too.

As a rule “Make Money Online, Mesothelioma, Acai Berry, Weight Loss, Forex, or any of the other common garbage blogs and keywords throw up immediate red flags and are not allowed on this network.

If you are a “Make Money Online Expert” or pundit, we apologize in advance, but others have dragged your profession into the gutter and there is no getting it back.

I have an itchy trigger finger and even if you get past the software, you won’t make it 5 minutes past me, or the other members here who want to keep this community free from varmints and pests..so go try it somewhere else. You will be wasting your time here.

In most cases, attempting to register known spam keywords will kick you out of the system and block your IP address immediately or at the very least require additional human verification where you will need to provide additional information about the blog you are trying to create. If it is determined that in our opinion you are attempting to set up a spam blog, you will be denied.

If you happen to be a well documented expert or professional in a certain field and are concerned that your blog and it’s content will trigger our spam filters, please feel free to contact us via our contact form to let us know and we will insure that your account is created with full access to the community.

The safety and enjoyment of the community as a whole will always take precedence over a single individual who feels the need to disrupt it.

We are very Serious.
