Ten Contractors Arrested

 

Ten contractors are to appear in Ventura County California Superior Court on October 20 to plead their case on charges of unlicensed contracting and illegal advertising. Ventura County is about 60 miles northwest of Los Angeles. Ventura County Craigslist was largely responsible for the success of this sting operation. Ads were placed on Craigslist solicting contractor bids on a variety of property improvements including tree trimming, lawn maintenance and run-of-the-mill property preservation services.
