Most of you visiting CubicYard have probably discovered that the editor, webmaster and others that participate in maintaining the site are also in the property preservation REO business. You know how it is in the preservation business, go, go, go and then nothing – absolutely nothing.
We took on a new client last week. They are just starting to service our area and they called with a list of properties that needed attention as soon as possible so it was time to do the go, go, go part. We left early this morning to get started on those properties knowing that www.CubicYard.us was having some problems.
I want to apologize for the lack of a complete home page on the site and as a result of that, a site that was pretty much useless for most of the day. I know you understand that our field work and making our clients happy has to come first.
CubicYard has grown a lot so last week the site was placed on a dedicated server and while we were at it, we upgraded the software and added many enhancements. With all that going on, you probably experienced the three days last week of the site being up and down. More down than up. Then last night some of those enhancements started causing problems.
It appears that the most recent problems have been corrected and you should have full functionality of the site with the exception of the forum. It looks like that enhancement may have contributed to the site failure last night and this morning so we have shut down the forum feature for now.
So, this is my apology for the inconvenience and to let you know that CubicYard is receiving much more attention and we are working every day to make the site better for you and do as much as we can to make the property preservation business better for everyone.
In the future, if you have a problem with the site or see somehing quirky or just want to ask for something special or even complain, why don’t you pick up the phone and let us know? We willing give you the right to do that. You’re a client too!
By the way. Just another typical day in the property preservation business: found a body along side the highway and later got much too close to a drug deal gone bad – handcuffs and stuff!
