Contractor Referrals
Hello To All Contractors,
The popularity of CubicYard continues to grow and the site has become a center of influence for the Property Preservation and REO business. There are days when CubiYard handles in the neighborhood of 1,000 visitors and a lot of those visitors are looking for contractors. I get lots of requests for contractor contact information but have never shared your information – instead the requesting party was told to look over the contractors ads on CubicYard or do a search of the site.
The number of e-mails and phone calls for contractor information has become difficult to handle, so things are going to change a bit. I have decided to offer you the option of having your contact information passed on as a referral. If you would like for your information to be given to companies looking for contractors, please complete the form you will find at the Contractor Referrals link under the ANNOUNCEMENTS, HELP & NEWS menu block on the front page. When you complete that form, you will added to CubicYard’s in-house contact management system. If you elect to register for the referral database you will also at the same time be enrolled for sporadic industry e-mails some of which will contain advertisements.
On a related topic, in order to satisfy everyone’s request for a more organized listing of contractors, there will be a new searchable database shortly. I am still doing research to determine if contractors may gain more exposure if this database is moved to it’s own website. Right now it is looking like contractors stand to gain a lot by letting the database have it’s own site. If a new site is created for the database, there will probably be a charge for inclusion but I am still looking at options; inclusion may be included in one of CubicYard’s membership plans.
